  • How We Do It

"Once your beard gains girth and becomes it’s own orbit you will know you’re on the right track."

    Chief Beard Grower

"Growing a beard takes great commitment. The first and most crucial step towards this path of epicness involves tossing your razor in the garbage and staying true to your word. Every bearded man knows that patience is a virtue, so keep in mind that the journey is the destination.

It may take anywhere from three weeks to two months for a true beard to grow in. Each beard varies from the next. It’s important to remember that age, genetics, and diet play a huge role in beard growth. Taking proper care of your beard will determine the rest. Irritation, itchiness, and beard dandruff are all clear signs that your beard needs care and attention. Consistent use of our shampoo, oils, balms, and creams will help alleviate these problems you may face during the early stages of the beard. Take damn good care of that hedge. A plant can’t grow without water - our beards get thirsty too. Keeping your beard moisturized and hydrated at all times is vital to maintaining a full and wholesome hedge.

Once your beard gains girth and becomes its own orbit, you will know you’re on the right track. Let that beast grow and take on a life of its own before trimming and shaping. Let it get a little wild at first to allow you to see what your beard really needs, and where it needs attention. If you prefer the clean and tight look, avoid hard lines with your beard. Consider a subtle fade when it comes to cheek and necklines. We prefer our necks bearded anyway."

    History Of The Beard

Growing a beard has been a sign of manliness since the dawn of time. Scientists believe prehistoric men sported beards for purposes of warmth, intimidation, and protection. Men of splendor and high ranking officials have sported beautiful locks on their face to show their majesty. In Ancient Egypt, the highest of rank would grow hair on their chin and interweave it with gold. Mesopotamian civilizations devoted great care to oiling and maintaining their beards, often using tools to decorate and texture the beard. In ancient India, they considered a long beard as a symbol of dignity and of course wisdom. The Eastern Indian nations treated their beards with great care and reverence, and members of society were to have the beard of the wrongdoers publicly cut off. The Ancient Greeks regarded the beard as a sign of virility. As you can see, beards have been of great significance in the greatest eras and well known ancient societies - so by growing yours, you have immediately made yourself a part of great history.

"This is a solid beard oil. At $1 for a 1/2-ounce, $4 for a two-ounce & $8 for the four-ounce bottle the value is pretty insane. Considering you can adjust your membership as you go if you can end up with the right amount of beard oil for you without spending a ton to give it a shot. Honestly, I’m not sure how they can make money. If you’re just starting to get into beard oils or have a bearded friend or lover who SHOULD start using beard oils, this is an excellent way to explore without breaking the bank.

As a product, it is somewhere between three & four Lightning Bolts of Awesomeness. But as a value, it is a fucking six! We’re going to give the Oil an official 4 Lightning Bolts of Awesomeness."

"I just got my box a few days ago and love all the products. The wax is superior to any other I've used thus far (and I've demoed about five others), and the brush is of very high quality.

You can change your replenishment options in your profile on there, so don't worry if you can't use it all up in a month.

Personally, I love it. Some people are talking shit about whether or not their oil is cold-pressed and the thickness of their shampoo. I've had no issues with either. They work great. So, maybe I'm just a pleb, but I couldn't give a fuck about how it's made. I just like the product."

"Beard Oil Price: Price was great! $1 + shipping for a 0.5-ounce high-quality ingredient beard oil. it doesn’t get much cheaper for something I can trust.

Beard Oil Ingredients: I am pleased with the ingredients. It’s 100% natural, high-quality ingredients consisting of Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Argan Oil, Cedarwood Atlas, Fir Needle. I think it’s critical to note that these are produced in America! Specifically Huntington Beach, California.

Beard Oil Quality: This is quality stuff. Like I said above, 100% natural ingredients."

"Now, since I have only tried the beard oil and mustache wax, I can only attest to the awesomeness of these two products, which are pretty awesome. The mustache wax is the new goto for my fuzzy household. It holds well, despite being quite pliable at room temperature, and the smell is quite masculine and woodsy think lumberjack, not treehugger. The beard oil is also on par with just about every oil I’ve tried but instead of a small bottle costing $10$20, it costs $1 which is cheaper than beard oil can be made at home when you consider the cost of packaging.

If you have a fuzzy face, Dollar Beard Club can help you make it better. The monthly service is a nobrainer, the products are top notch, and the service is quick and easy. "
